Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
As I was a mom with one child at my side and other children in the cradle, I was working 12 hour shifts cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing started to seem logical, however it was still far from being finished. This was going take time, money and of course my favourite shopping experience for furniture to decorate this home. For my budget to remain in good shape, I went out with my 3 boys looking for bargains in estate sales. We had a weekly schedule that consisted of spending Thursday through Saturday walking around estate and garage sales, purchasing new and old things. The rest of the week working on painting and sanding the driveway. My first impression was like... This is when my desire to repair furniture began. Even though the house was decorated, I was unable to put down. I had an area at the market where I sold objects. I was able to outgrow the area because I had many more pieces than I could use. My home became a place in which I held open houses where up 1000 people would be able to view the things on my first floor and purchase the items. My venture Growing Days began here. Growing Days wasn't just an extremely successful company, it was it was also a loving family. It was a balance between the start of a company and becoming a mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. Nora was born in 2013 as our 4th baby. I was thrilled with where my company was heading but I needed a break. I decided to put off working on my antique furniture for a while and be at home with the kids. In the beginning, this was what I wanted. After a few months when the phones began to call. Many people called me for help on home improvement and decorating. The majority of people who contacted me came from people who attended one of the furniture open houses. The time flew by before I managed a large-scale house renovation business. The first step was to take clients at a pace that I was at ease with. If you'd told me that my business would be the premise for a DIY Network show, I might have laughed. As I reflect at it, it has made me laugh.
